Just upon searching through sites, Flyin Miata has recently posted up an entry showing how much damage a big rock may do. Y’know big rocks just love messing things up. In this case of Rock, Paper, Wheel, Rock won against wheel.

Ken Blocks Gymkhana has been seen around the world and enjoyed by millions. He is known for bringing the mass of fans to gymkhana because of these videos. Well, now he is attempting to not only be known for this gymkhana sport himself. He is creating events to allow any level drivers to participate in this great growing motorsport.

It was a such an interesting event. Many seemed to have enjoyed their time participating.

Even Michael Essa came out showing off the BMW v10, making itself very noticeable

Evo burning up some tire on the turn.

Very open field, but even then the drivers find themselves making tight turns.

Many miatas made an appearance.

The beetle that was very noticeable.

So since ive decided to sign up for Ken blocks gymkhana grid event i have ordered a a few things that i might need(which they have already came in):

The new open face helmet, this time SA rated and with the ninka fire retardant sock. As well as the new Hero cam to record everything going on!

HPR has been still going on through some changes and has been getting closely to a more settling agreement on our views. So check us out around the site and keep and eye for any changes.

Things that have changed will be mainly found on our about us page, from what we will be doing with ourselves,as well as what kind of people we hope to find and partner up with.

We will be out this Sunday at Ken Blocks Gymkhana media day so if your planning on attending either the media day or the main event, come say whats up as we make our appearance. We will have media as well as drivers testing out the track. So expect some news from us about it soon!

Gymkhana Grid! Featuring Ken Block and More!

So if you haven’t heard, Ken Block is having an invitational event for his newly built Gymkhana course in Irwindale.

As of a couple days ago, its been decided that we here at HPR will be officially participating as drivers in the event. So if your planning on going or cheering us on in spirit, Both (our supporting driver) Mike Com and I (Marco) will be making our first big well known event showing at this event! Both showing off our skills in our Miatas and learning the gymkhana game.

This event is meant to launch off its Media Day on August 8th at Hollywood Park! and from there whatever 5 top drivers, with the least infractions and that finish the course properly, get invited to the bigger main event on Dec. 3rd and 4th.

This passing Friday, quite a few of us roadster miatas from way southern San Diego had a meet. Started from tea station(which I did not make it too due to my lazyness), ate at Rubys, at mission valley mall, and finished at Fashion Mall with a photoshoot. This was also a great opportunity to allow our HPR member, Jonjon, to show of his new little blue roadster, which he is having alot of fun with. Check out the pictures:
